Merlin or Doctor Who?

AHHH!!! Such a hard choice, as i am a life-long Doctor Who fan but Merlin was SO amazing last night!

I think that Doctor Who has gotten a bit annoying and silly since Amy and Rory found out that River is actually their daughter, blah, blah, blah. I preferred the days of Rose, Martha, Donna and Amy and Rory in season 5, but not 6.

Merlin, however, got me hooked in the 1st series, but i missed the 2nd and 3rd. and i am now immediately hooked on the fourth! Maybe you could help me catch up:

Merlin Doctor Who

Merlin was good - who would of thought Morgana a baddie! They have aged the king too much though even though he is meant to be ill. I think he looks a bit too old but that's my opinion. :)

Morgarna was always a baddie, its just only merlin knew in the last series.

i would say merlin, if you asked me a year ago i would have said doctor who, but doctor who has goton so crap since it has a new writer and new doctor, its become more of a childs program, also merlin is really good show and i watched both last night, i still watch doctor who to keep with the story line.

I don't think it has got crap, I just think Steven Moffat is changing it, and all though we don't like change, it is good for us.

Last nights episode The Wedding of River Song was a strange one.

It started off as the most confusing episode to date, before becoming the simplest to figure out at the end.

Merlin was brilliant, but I prefer Doctor Who as The Doctor should now go back to his old style of being in the shadows.

Merlin is awesome, but just not quite as good as Doctor Who, though I did watch both!!!

And there both brilliant!

I tried to watch Merlin. I did not care for it. But if it has improved like you said. Then it has got to be Merlin. Cuz you are right. Doctor Who has lost its way. and real needs to step up or get cancelled.

Merlin. No contest. Watched both. Switched off Doctor Who about a year ago.

Although watched yesterday's eppy of Doctor Who. Wasn't impressed.

Merlin, I like Dr Who but am not keen on this doctor.
