I dropped my Nikon Coolpix LL22, the camera won't turn on, & the lens is stuck out.?

Should I take it back to where I got it and see if it can be repaired? How much would it cost?

This is one of the most common question that gets asked here on YA about what to do with the Cameras that had been Dropped.

Option A: Contact the Manufacture directly to get an estimate on the repairs. However consider this that the repairs in so many cases would far exceed what the camera is really worth. As in your case you would be paying more money to get the camera Fixed than what you actually had paid for the camera Brand New.

Option B: Just go out and get a Brand New Camera due to the Cost of the Repairs.

BTW: Obviously You Wasn't Using the Supplied Camera Strap because Using the Supplied Camera Strap would had Greatly Reduced or even Eliminated the Chances the Camera from Being Dropped in the First Place.

It's toast. A store can't do anything about a camera you broke. Sorry. Buy a new one & use the wrist strap next time.
