Can I go to any internet site using a Roku internet streamer?

I see the list of channels on the Roku website, but can I access any website with the Roku, such as Utube, CBS, etc?

    Not yet there are bypasses or workarounds yet it is a Closed System

    Still a good one and updates they say allow for it...

    with a private channel on the roku like playon it covers many of those
