    They do shut them down as soon as they are reported but then the pimps open a new account and spam again.

    Until Yahoo can put in filters that filter out certain phrases or phone numbers that appear over and over there is no way to stop them

    Spammers make new accounts every few minutes or so. They see accounts as disposable and don't care if they are deleted, they just make a new one and continue with their tripe.

    Just report them as soon as you see them. It'll be a never-ending battle, but at least you'd be doing your best to keep Y!A a proper Q&A site.
