I can't save bookmarks on myyahoo toolbar anymore?

right click on what you want to put in favorities,than when it shows up click on favorites,click saved.You click once on the single yellow star to get to your favorites.. on oct.20you will be able to put items in bookmarks.Go to the bookmark page on the very top of the page explains what is happening. Yahoo has notified us that Bookmarks will be close until at least Nov. 1, 2011, in the meantime though, you can use your Favorites which is essentially a bookmarking device anyway.

Here's how to get your favorites. Click Tools on the bottom line of your tool bar, scroll to Tool bars and click, scroll to Menu Bar and click and that will put File - Edit - View - Favorites - Tools - Help (menu bar) above your tool bars for you, a very convenient access point!

To add a favorite, be on the page you'd like to make a favorite, then click the double stars (yellow and green) on the bottom line of your toolbars. That's going to open a window asking you if you want to make this page a favorite and it's going to have the name of the page highlighted.

Click Yes, or you can change the name to whatever you want to by just typing it into the highlighted area, then click Yes.

To access these Favorites, click on Favorites in the Toolbar and they will be listed alphabetically initially. You can drag them up and down the list though any time you want and they will remain where you place them.
