Even in advanced countries the skewed taxation of Govt is being protested, but here in India, there is no protest on UPA giving hefty "tax reliefs" over a lakh crore year after year, to the profit making corporates!
On the other hand the FCI says it has no adequate godowns to store the food grains that rot in weather and ex Railway Minister Mamata said there was no funds to install advanced security systems to curb accidents!

Occupy Wall Street protest has not much to do with taxation but everything to do with the heavy benefits drawn by Wall street executives when that nation is going through 12+ percent unemployment, and benefits of general public is cut significantly. The protesters claim that their situation is because of these executives but these executives are enjoying all benefits however they are impacted. These kind of protests are typically seen is socialist countries but now it is also seen in the capitalist nation like United States. This movement lacks at one place and that is they don't provide any solution. They say executives have wronged, they want to occupy wall street, actually now not only wall street but now trade centers in many major cities but they don't have direction what to do next. And that is where there movement fails.
Regarding Taxes, US government provides tax relief to its citizens on all level. This tax relief was started by president Bush and continues till now. President Obama tried to change that law but could not. Even now President Obama wants to tax a little more individuals earning more than 250 MN dollars PA but he is failing on that. Indian tax for rich is much more higher than US federal government may be lower than UK and Canada though. US does not impose high taxes like UK and Canada. US gives many many times more tax relief to rich as compared to India. More over India cannot be compared to US because one is developed country and another developing country, one is capitalist country and second is so called socialist country with open market. Moreover in India if revenue for government is increased in India the India will go higher in the list of corruption. More money more corruption is the history of India.

Seldon, of course you're a shill, and can't answer the questions concerning the President rationally. He of course hasn't saved us from the 2nd super melancholy for 2 motives. First, we're not of course headed in the superb course. 2nd, our financial difficulty as he inherited that's not practically as undesirable because it grew to become into then. As for telling GM and Chrysler what to do, please locate in the form a clause giving the President authority to be sure how inner maximum entities do corporation. The protests are generally a protest against confiscatory tax coverage and increasing spending. They began out bipartisan, yet have been hijacked via the Republican base.
