there are alot of risks in getting tatoos- hiv, hepetitis, allergic reaction, boils, etc

the older you get the saggier your skin gets and the tatoos can deform

to keep the color good you have to get touch ups

it can affect getting hired, lots of people dont want to hire people with tatoos they think of immaturity etc (especially when they are noticable or cant be covered)

Source(s): Know tons of people with them

The only disadvantages of getting tattoos is where you get them. Location on your body. In the employment aspect, it is difficult if you have sleeves or visible ones, depending on the field of employment you are seeking. The other disadvantages of tattoos is the looks that people give you if they don't understand why you have so many. Other than that, you can get hepatitis or even HIV if the needles are not properly sterilized and the health guidelines are not followed by the person or shop you choose to use.

Because getting a tattoo is a poor decision, people look at you and think that you are a tattooed Moron, this may NOT be true, and I DON'T feel this way but, that's what people think when they see them, unfortunately.
