Actually conservatism is the inevitable result of using critical thinking when making decisions.

Liberals are more closed minded than conservatives. Just look at someone like Harry Reid. Everything id "DOA" to him without even reading it or considering it. The left is more prone to violence than those from the right. When was the last time you saw a group of conservatives looting and rioting? Prejudiced? LOL The left is far more prejudiced than anyone on the right. They created a whole system which was designed to keep minorities uneducated and poor. So, in conclusion I'd say you failed miserably.

How come welfare breeds welfare from one generation to another? Is this a gene problem are they bad parents who will not break the mentally of living on the government plantation? Your question and article is nothing more than liberal bashing,an inherited gene.

"What is wrong with American Academic social scientists that they are so out of step with mainstream America?"

From my experience, they are unhappy people. Whether this is a result of childhood traumas, or genetic defect, I can only speculate.

One trait all conservatives share is their vague hatred ofpeople in authority and contempt of those they deem "lower" than themselves.

Conservatism is the result of good education, common sense & the ability to think for oneself.

Simple ignorance and the way mainstream media plays on peoples fears may be to blame. Its easier to be afraid and ill-informed than to find the truth.
