Using greek yogurt instead of Alfredo Sauce.?
I am wanting to make a crab meat pizza and I am wondering if there is any recipe that uses greek yogurt in it's place. Can you even bake with Greek yogurt. I am on a new health kick and am in over my head.

Be careful cooking with yogurt, it might have a tendency to separate or its consistency might change.
Source(s): http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/knowhow/glossar... Yogurts of all kinds are ready to use straight from the container. If you plan to cook with yogurt, bring it to room temperature before you add it to the dish, so that the temperature shock is not too great (otherwise it might curdle and separate), and add it to the dish spoon by spoon. Higher-fat yogurts are the best to cook with, as they're more stable. If you want to cook with a low-fat yogurt you can increase its stability by making a paste of ½ tsp cornflour and 1 tsp water; stir it into the yogurt before you add the yogurt to the dish. - Anonymous10 years ago
Hi Bob, I don't see why not. If I were doing this I would add some chopped green onion and some Parmesan cheese to the yogurt. Oh go for it, this is the only way you will find out.
