building a townhome, asked for the architectural plans, builder said NO! why?

Hi, as a souvenir we asked for a copy of the plans for the town home, sales person said no! though construction superintendent was about to give us a scaled down copy?? Who was right, and are these plans available elsewhere for us to have?

    go to the local building department and ask for a copy it may cost a few bucks but they are important to have expecially if you plan any renovations later on

    Because he PAID an architect to draw them. He's NOT going to give them to you. Pay for your own

    Yes, they are available to you, for a price, from the same architect
