Weird boyfriend and ex-boyfriend behaviour, please anwer, guys esp, what's your take on this?

Phillip and I were a couple for over two years. Once we split, his crew stopped hanging with me, naturally. I became involved with Ray soon after, and things were normal until Phillip got married and his wife became Phillip's main focus over the guys.

So one day, Ray goes to work and sees one of Phillip's friends who had just gotten hired and starts showing him the ropes. Slowly, Phillip's friends start hanging out with Ray more and more often. Now Phillip is getting divorced and has become friends with Ray.

I'm wondering how to take all of this--is this a normal guy thing? How did this happen and what's invovled?

Btw, this has all been drama free, the guys actually have fun, bbqs, nightclubs, carnivals, video games, etc.

Update:

@ Harry--Man, video it next time, this I gotta see!

Sounds as if you tend to like guys who have similar traits. People with common interests tend to get along, regardless of their dating history.
