  • What is the correct running technique for someone with flexible flatfoot?

I've watched some videos on proper running technique, but I'm not sure if they're supposed to apply to just people with normal arches or to everyone. The main thing that's confusing me is the whole "landing on your midfoot" thing. I naturally walk and run on the balls of my feet, and I'm not entirely sure how to land on the midfoot. If someone could point me in the direction of some tips or, better yet, a video clip, I'd be very grateful.

  • Why do I not get a "high" from exercise?

I've heard lots of people talk about the fabled "exercise high," and I sort of understand what it's supposed to be, but I've never felt it before. I run on a regular basis, but it remains a miserable task regardless of intensity, duration, or frequency. The sole thing that keeps me going when I run is the thought of not being so flabby. What exactly is this "high" runners talk about and why am I not feeling it?

  • How would you draw a diagram of spherical time?

I've been wandering around the internet trying to find a diagram, but spherical time is hard enough to just find reference to, let alone something so convenient as a diagram. Anyone know of one or at least have some vague idea as to it would be drawn?

  • How can I better use my brain while running?

I go running every other night and while it requires a great deal of physical focus, I find that my brain feels quite understimulated. I have an ipod and could listen to music, but I would prefer to be doing something productive. I'm not entirely sure what's out there in mp3 form, other than music. Any suggestions?

  • How can I prevent my toes from falling asleep while I'm running?

It's not an issue of my shoes being too tight, because I used to run in much tighter shoes and never had this problem before. Am I tying them wrong or something?

  • How can my shoes be too tight in the toes but fall off my heels?

With or without socks on, every time I start walking in these they fall off my heels. When I'm just standing they're a little snug in the toes, but not too bad. I really don't want to have to return them, because they really are gorgeous, so is there some way I can fix them?

Note: I already put heel grip and full-length insole footpetals in them.

  • How best can I go about losing weight and getting in shape?

I'm 5'8" and weigh 150 lbs. I'm a lot flabbier and about 15 lbs heavier than I'd like to be, and am trying to find the best way to look the way I want without drastically changing my current lifestyle. I tend to eat a larger breakfast, followed 6 hours later by 2 or 3 evenly spaced smaller "grazing" meals. I can't eat land-based meat, eggs, or foods with a high lactose content, but I eat plenty of fish, beans, nuts, and small quantities of cheese. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to cook, so when I eat at work it's either no-prep (piece of fruit, trail mix, stone-ground corn chips) or quick-prep food (a couple of mini burritos, a salad, or a small sandwich). My job is such that I'm on my feet and at least walking around for 6-8 hours each day, and I've recently taken up jogging for 30 minutes every other night.

I can't really increase my jogging because it's irritating my joints even at this low level, but I'd like to do more cardio and work on developing muscle tone.

  • Is there a site that will recognize this song?

I have this song in my library that has no accurate tags whatsoever and I've been trying to figure out what it is for about 6 years. Is there a site similar to midomi that will recognize it based on a music clip rather than a voice clip?

I already tried posting it on here but got no helpful answers. Just in case, I uploaded it to here:

  • Who do I call about this accidental damage to my car?

The other night my friend and I both ran over an enormous tire tread that someone had left on a narrow bridge on which the speed limit is 55 mph. While nothing happened to my car, his car, having slightly lower suspension and bumpers, had its front bumper, lowlights, and dual exhaust attachment ripped off, causing a considerable amount of damage to the undercarriage in passing. One of our coworkers mentioned that there's some government office that's supposed to keep roads safe to drive on and that by calling them my friend could get them to cover the cost of his repairs, considering that his insurance company most likely won't. Does anyone know who he should call about this?

  • Where can I download the full installer for the Mac version of WoW-The Burning Crusade?

I've been all over the web and turned up essentially nothing. The only two viable files I found turned out to be corrupted and unrecognizable by my computer, respectively.

  • How would I translate this quantum physics concept into a tattoo?

I've been trying to design this tattoo for about 4 years now and I've met with little success. Basically, I want a graphic representation of the concept of "motion without movement." If that was a little obscure, try this: "motion is achieved not through locomotion (such as walking, running, etc.) but rather through a shifting of ones perception from one moment in time to another." This has much to do, of course, with the concept of time as a sphere wherein every point exists simultaneously, rather than as a line.

The really frustrating thing about this is that I can picture in my head the size, rough shape, and colours of this, but I can't for the life of me draw out the the details. Please, hit me with your best suggestions.

  • Where can I get a classy lesbian bracelet?

I've been looking around the internet for a lesbian bracelet, but so far haven't really found anything that matches what I want. I'm looking for something classy, silver (no rainbows!), and not too pricey. Does anyone know where I might find something like that?

  • How can I look like a lesbian without being overly masculine?

Is there something I can change about my appearance that will make it obvious that I have no sexual interest in men without looking like a man-hating bulldyke?

  • What is this Japanese song?

I've had this song in my music library since I was about 15, but I've never known what it is or who it's by. Help me, please!
