Is it normal for my puppy to not want alot of water?? Advice please?
I just got an 9 week old mini schnauzer and she really doesn't drink that much water..only here and there and not too much. She also doesn't potty too much. When my mini aussie was this age she drank ALOT of water and had to go out every half hour or so...So how much should a puppy drink? I have water available for her all day..she doesn't get any at night though (in her crate) Does this sound normal or no?

No, it is not normal for a dog not to want water.
Puppies need to be let outside a minimum of 8 times a day.
Does she drink when you are not looking?
Can she reach the water?
Does she know where it is?
You can give her ice at night - so she can still get a drink, but more than likely will not have an accident.
Look at http://positively.com/
If she is not drinking a lot - like if you actually watch her constantly and she does not drink, or if she does not drink at all, contact a vet ASAP.

Every dog is different. Some puppies need to be encouraged to drink. Try dipping your finger into the water and letting the puppy lick it. Does she lick it and keep licking, hoping there's more? Or does she seem uninterested? If it's the first one, then she needs more encouragement to drink. If it's the second one, then she may just not need as much water. Does she get more or less exercise than your aussie at that age? I'm inclined to think that your aussie was more active and spent more time exercising herself than your mini schnauzer does. That's also a factor. You can always call your vet to ask, if you're very worried.
Or maybe she's drinking out of your toilet :) i'm just kidding.

It could be normal. I have three dogs and when they were eating a home cooked diet, one of them rarely drank water. I got worried about it, but when she started eating dry food, she was drinking lots of water. I am guessing your dog eats wet food or perhaps wet mixed with dry and she might be getting enough water that way. Some dogs just drink more than others do.
