problem with electric windows on megane 2004?
the driver side windows down....and it refuses to go back up no matter the amount of abuse i give it. ive checked the manual and done what it says.. holding it in to no avail and also when locking car press lock twice quickly but still wont budge.
please any one any ideas, im dreading taking it to the garage cos i know il be out a small fortune. any ideas? has this happened to you?

If you can take the door panel mounting screws out of the panel then un-clip the door panel you could then unplug any harness's and peel back the insulation then try to pull the window up or change the motor or whole track and motor assembly.Be sure to check the ground and any connections before replacing the motor, plus test the harness for power bec the drivers side control switch or wiring for the windows could be faulty.

These Meganes are notorious for all sorts of electrical issues and there's not likely to be anything you can do yourself since it's going to be a motor or a connection that needs fixing. Take it to a garage.
