Use the stuff her son was given until she can get back to her doctor and yell at them. Morons.
She can spray her nipples with a vinegar/water solution or baking soda/water solution.
Also give the baby half doses of nyastin more frequently as it kills on contact and once it's gone the yeast is free to go.
.Go braless helps as yeast thrives in moist, dark areas. Wash her bras daily. Boil everything that touches babies mouth for 10 minutes. Throw out any medicinal or vitamin drops that were used.

The doctor should have provided a prescription for her as well. There are creams that she can use to get rid of the yeast on her nipples. Normally they recommend Nystatin. You need a prescription though. She can call her care provider and explain the situation, and they could call something in. She also needs to keep her nipples clean and dry - frequent changes of breast pads if she is leaking at all.
