John Titor: true or hoax?
If you're not familiar with the story of John Titor, he is a time traveller from the year 2036 who posted on the internet around 2000. His story can be found @ http://johntitor.strategicbrains.com/ ... wikipedia, of course, makes this out to be a hoax... but if you know and believe the Everett Wheeler theory, it is possible. The believers have me more convinced than the naysayers because the hating is unfounded, whereas the believers have science on their side. Polll... john titor: true or false?
You must be familiar with the whole John Titor story or you will not be able to answer this question... the photos, the story, the patent, the forum posts, the irc log, etc.
He stated that the Everett/Wheeler model of the universe was the correct on meaning that there are multiple realities in which all possible scenarios are played out,thus creating different "world time lines" as he called them.This would also do away with the paradox problem associated with time travel (in other words if you went back in time to assassinate your grandfather and thus prevent you from being born,this would not work as you would just create a different alternate reality).
