Rascall Flatts become Grand Ol Opry members.?

......Agree, Mr Roy the King Of Country Music, "The Wreck On The Highway" has become the wreck at the Opry.

I still go to the Opry twice a year , and enjoy the entertainment. I was really puzzled when Montgomery Gentry was inducted to the Opry in '09, and I was dumbfounded when The Doobie Brothers performed on the Opry. So adding Rascal Flatts was no real surprise.

Wish there were more like Mr Roy and Bashful Brother Oswald.........................I'm old enough I saw Roy Acuff.on the Opry. Mr Roy was the name staff members at the Opry called Roy Acuff.

I'm a "Traditional/classic" country fan and this missed the mark.

Remember when it meant something to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry? Sure that was before my time, but I do remember when that was like the ultimate honor of Country music. Anymore they let pretty much anyone perform on their stage, which I could have ALMOST dealt with and said well ok, but now they seem to let anyone be a member and that is sad.
