Will I get my files in other OS?

I've created disk partition in my hard drive. What I would like to know is that if one operating system is corrupt will I get my files when I open other OS in my hard drive? Sorry for my poor English

No you will not! There is just one operation system which is running all the drives or partitions, so if it crashes nothing will work. The use of a partition is basically for saving files on it just like you do on a USB or External Hard Drive, but I would not recommend it because if the system crashes its all gone, but on a USB or External Hard Drive you always have it.

if a version of linux was to be installed onto that extra partition, it could be gotten to easily, also if you have issues you can usually get back to your data using a "live" cd of some version on linux too, most people are using ubuntu now, its the most popular linux distro out now
