Medical analysis for feet problems?

HI on my big toe I have slightly moist(wet like when you get a cut that doesnt bleed) peeled skin that will not heal. It is surrounding a corn on my foot. I would like to know what it is and any way to treat it and if I should see a podiatrist or not. It does not look fungal

The best thing for you to do is to see your doctor. If a referral is required to a podiatrist then it will be made then.

Without seeing it it is hard to say what it is. It could still be fungal, even if it does not look like it.

Could be a wart, could be that you over treated the corn, could be a rub spot of where your toe touches the shoe, or from you socks.

Best to have a medical person look at it.

    Take care,

peeling and cracked skin actually is one sign of athlete's foot, a fungus. It does not have to be discolored and frequently is between the toes. ``
