    the full interval (310.6-284.7) = 25.9 will form the denominator for calculating Pr

    the stipulated range will form the numerator, eg

    P(<290) = (290-284.7)/25.9 = .2046 <---------

    the 1st 3 q's are to be solved in exactly the same way

    [expected # of golfers ≥ 290) = 100(1-.2046) = 79.54, ie 80, say <---------
