Better defensive player: Alonzo Mourning or Ben Wallace?
In their primes who was the better defender? Both won multiple DPOY awards. Zo in 1999, and 2000, and Wallace in 02,03,05,06. Who was the better defender. In my personal opinion Alonzo in his prime edges out wallaces barely, but that's just my opinion.
What do you think?

Zo was actually a bit better as a shot blocker, but Ben was a better rebounder and could get out on the perimeter and bother guards, gets steals, etc.
So I'll go with Ben (not by much though).

Ben Wallace is better than Zo Mourning in defense.
Ben Wallace was a great defender, he was a complete defensive player, he was good in blocked, steal the ball, and in capturing so many offensive and defensive rebounds.
Ben Wallace is one of the best defenders in recent years.
Alonzo ''Zo'' Mourning was a great center, was a great scorer, scored many points and took many rebounds, but the best defensive player is Ben Wallace, he had a very good position to defend.

Ben Wallace, he completely sacrifice being an offensive option to be a primarily defensive stopper. He one of a few guys that I've seen can defend Shaq and defend smaller guys too.

Damn thats a tough one, I think i'll give it to big ben. He's gotten more dpoy, shut down shaq in the 04 finals, and is short for the Center position. So I give it to Ben slightly.

Damn that's tough, but I'll say Ben Wallace, slightly
