Do you do any volunteer work?
I do. I'm a volunteer finance mentor for women leaving domestic violence.
If you do any volunteer work, what kind? And why? Are you driven by your religious beliefs, or something else?

yes 1st and foremost i volunteer my time to preach and teach the good news of God's kingdom. i have seen many people break free from drug addiction, alcohol abuse and being deadbeat dads.
i also mentor 9th graders by helping them frame their future at inner city high schools. they don't see many positive role models. feel so sad for them. my beliefs as a Jehovah's Witness makes me feel compassion and empathy for them.

I teach CCD on Sunday mornings. I started to get myself back into the classroom, gently, now that my son is in school full time. I also help out with his den in the Boy Scouts. He wanted to give it a try and I want him to try everything that might interest him so he can find what makes him happy.

yes, I do story time in French in my daughter's Kindergarten class.
Edit: I do this because I feel like helping my daughter's Kindergarten in some way and at the same time I believe in exposure to foreign languages at a young age to encourage bilinguism in kids.
