Theres no adjustment to the timing, its set by the cambelt timing marks, its obviously a diesel engine so if its running like a bag of nails get the fault diagnosed by a competent mechanic, if the cambelt timing was out i doubt if it would run at all, plus it would bend valves in the cylinder head, as i said, find a mechanic to sort it for you
