Brandon Inge just hit a home run. I CALLED IT!?

Just watching the game between the Rangers and Tigers. I said to myself, 'The Tigers only need a home run to tie it, it's not so bad. Really, it's just ONE PITCH.'

Then Inge steps up to the plate. I didn't think much about it UNTIL Joe Buck mentions that, 'Inge doesn't hit home runs much anymore.'

At which point I thought, 'Brandon Inge is going to hit a home run. I KNOW it.'

And he did.

Update:

EDIT- This kind of thing DOES happen a lot.

You didn't call anything. Everyone knows when Joe Buck says something it will cause the opposite to happen.

i'm going to flow with Barry Bonds. no longer in basic terms is he the all-time domicile run chief, yet he performed for the Pirates for a on a similar time as (eastern Time Zone, somewhat some video games against significant Time Zone fighters like Cubs and Cardinals), yet he performed in San Francisco (Pacific Time Zone). He performed in SF in the process the Wild Card era, ie interior the NL West with Colorado, that's the only group interior the Mountain Time Zone (i think of... Arizona could be, yet they are interior the NL West, too). American League gamers would in basic terms play in Colorado as quickly as each 8 years or so. Bonds performed there each month. So, Bonds.

I can't believe what a terrible manager Leyland is. He should have played Inge all year. The Tigers will be lucky to win the ALCS with him managing.

I think I did too but to be fair, I always say Inge is going to get a home run when he goes up to bat. I want that guy to redeem himself.

Isn't it amazing how the announcer's ALWAYS bring up a stat such as the one you just stated "Inge doesn't hit home runs much anymore" and sure enough the announcers always 'jinx' it.

Good for you. That's a fine job well done. Now, predict the rest of the game and see what happens.
