true or false: life is like a video game?

SHORT VERSION

there's so many similarities, right?

rawr?

LONG VERSION:

think about it, in a video game, just like in life, you can play it all the way through or just cheat your way to the end. if you play it all the way through you get the most out of it, while if you just cheat it's not as fun, and sometimes it makes the game a LOT shorter. same thing with life. you live life to its fullest you come out happy but if you don't life isn't enjoyable and if you make a mistake while "cheating" ... game over, you crashed, you died.

on another note, death by chance: just like in life, sometimes random things happen that cause your character to die. random, unlucky enemies shooting out, unpreventable malfunctions or abnormalities... it happens. and in life, sometimes people die from things beyond their control. car crashes, random explosions, etc.

this next part might make more sense for religious folk. well, anyone really if you think about it. if you play the game all the way through, you leave the game happy and accomplished. however, if you lose, you might get angry and try to ruin it for everyone else still playing the game. likewise, these roles can be reversed. you might lose but you take your failure humbly and learn from it or just not let it change you. or if you win, you might get all cocky and vicious to the ones who have not been able to finish it correctly.

these are extremes, but compare these to life, heaven, and hell. if you played the game of life correctly and done it well, you're likely to be a good person (even if you didn't necessarily believe. I'm not putting down atheists. if you're a good person it doesn't matter what road you took), and choose heaven once you die. or if you did make it through life but are not a good person, you're more likely not to want to bother to get into heaven

on the other side, if you made mistakes during life, you may have cheated your way through, or else you died early from a mistake or chance, or any other situation you can think of, if you're not a bad person this doesn't mean you won't choose heaven once you die, you're just as likely to fit in. of course, if you tossed you're life around without care and are inherently a bad person, you're much more likely to choose hell.

does any o this make sense? ;)

Well first off it depends what kind of game you are playing. For instance i wouldn't give you tips for a shooting game like i would a racing game. If you are trying to get good at a certain game, first it is a good idea to read about the game, learn the controls (especially if you are using a keyboard, then you have to memorize a lot more buttons and set up hotkeys), get some tips and stuff like that. You will also want to practice a lot. And i heard that playing video games actually helps eye cordination *but not eye sight*. Tell us what kind of game you are into so we can help you a bit more. If you have a xbox let me know and i will give you my gamertag.

I consider life to be more like a book.

Of course life can be a video game; a virtual reality, kind of like Grand Theft Auto, except you follow the rules. You don't have to follow them, but you're screwed if you don't.

Everyone has problems, and this creates a conflict, which leads to a plot, and the enjoyable part is finding out what happens, because it can go either way.

Muggles only get 1 life. I, on the other hand, get over 9000!
