So much for no negative comments....

He's got some good finishes but I think they just interview the top 5 or so. They are usually always bother him when he dont want to give an interview. I wish they would leave him alone.

Who knows, he may have told them to lay off of him. Unlike many of the drivers, Dale has never been one who got off on all of the attention. He just wants to do his own thing without having 500 cameras shoved in his face before and after the race; there's no harm in that.

He recently stated that the only time he feels pressured is when he's bombarded with the media attention. He said he's more than comfortable with the Chase and the racing but the constant media attention is a bit too much.

He was interviewed after last weeks race. If you get the Bleacher Report read the article that Jimmy Spencer wrote about his interview.

"Any negative comments will be reported" ??? So, anyone who doesn't share your opinion is in violation of Yahoo policies? Geez.

Maybe the press wanted to and he didn't make himself available. It's not the drivers are standing around after the race begging to be interviewed. There is a mad scramble to get out of the track and home.

a driver that doesn't finish in the top 5 doesn't have to be interviewed after the race

he was interviewed before he qualified today

He was interviewed after the Chicago race i saw it when i was in the pits near his car

They went for a long time without interviewing Kyle Busch also. And you rarely see interviews of Jeff Burton. You do however see a ton of commercials with Junior in them, which I think is pretty neat, especially for Junior. But I don't think it's that much different. They usually interview Junior during the pre-race festivities. Junior was interviewed within the last couple of races, during a pre-race interview. You must have missed it. Watch the pre-race show, they get the best interviews. You can't expect interviews from certain drivers like Kyle or Junior, or Jeff Burton etc. after a race.

Um, that's um, probably cuz um that TV station, what's it called, um, Es p something or other, um, probably doesn't um have (10 second pause)...........the uh time to uh listen to him.....talk....um, for as long as he does without um, conveying any, uh information.

  • He finally made the chase and he is having a rough time of it...still he is decent at restrictor plate races and one is Saturday. I guess not always does he feel like interviewing. I didn't get to see the race or why he was upset I do know that he got Jimmy Spencer's crying towel. Didn't see that either so I don't know why. There are still 6 races to go and it's still anyones Championship.
