16th birthday party fooood?

Go to the Deli at your grocery store and ask if they make party trays. They usually have a booklet that you can look through and choose what you want on the trays. Here are just a few things:

Pinwheels;

Chicken wings;

Finger sandwiches;

Mini hamburgers;

Vegetables with a dip in the middle;

Cookies;

Brownies;

the list goes on and on and they are very pretty. Perfect for a party.

Balloons all over make for a pretty sight.

Since it is in Oct. how about a Halloween dress up party.

Or pumpkins and scarecrows around the room.

You can get many of these items at hobby shops during Oct.

Flower shops have blown up balloons.

As far as food I think you and your friends might really enjoy a "make your own shish kabob" table and then you can sit around your fire pit and cook your long sticks with food.You could have a few different veggies and some pre cut and marinated meats to choose from. That wouldn't cost allot either. Go get some really cool different flavored sodas to serve on ice. Serve fresh cut up fruit to keep with the shish kabob theme. This will leave money for a nice cake and decorations.Have fun!

What about cooking potatoes in the fire pit? People bring their own toppings.
