Does the Bible sit in the Fiction or Non Fiction section of a Library?

    It is in the nonfiction section, as is Bullfinch's Mythology, legends, even Grimm's Fairy Tales and other anthologies or fictional works. There are in sections of mythology and religion. The Dewey decimal system, or the Library of Congress system of classification are not citable material for making a point. Isaac Asimov has a book in every section of the Dewey Decimal System and fiction too, does that make him God? He's in more places than the Bible.

    The Bible is shelved with the Koran, the Bhagavat Gita, the Tao Te Ching, and the Elder Edda.

    It isn't well-enough written to be fiction.

    usualy if a bible is in a libreary there is a religiose section
