Protein shakes, milkshakes, smoothies, oatmeal, applesauce, hummus, gerber graduates food (it melts in your mouth, but dont worry its not "baby" food) ice cream, soup, quiche(just dont eat the crust) The filling part in pumpkin pie, cool whip, popsicles, yogurt, grits, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (mashed), breakfast drinks (like the carnation instant packets), Cheesecake(without the crust) vegetable souffle, chicken salad, egg salad, egg noodles (or a soft noodle). These are some foods I ate my first week with braces. Hope I gave you some ideas! Good luck with your braces! :)

I ate mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese the day after I got my braces. They both require little to no chewing.
ADVICE: Do NOT eat steak an hour after you get your braces. It hurts.
