Who to start in my Flex - Deangelo Williams(vs. ATL) or Victor Cruz(vs. BUF)? Week 6?
It's actually a two part question. Right now because of injuries this season My RB's are Steven Jackson, Ryan Torain, Beanie Wells(Bye), and Jackie Battle(Bye) on my bench I also have Antonio Gates(Bye/Injured) my starting TE is Aaron Hernandez(NE). Right now I'm playing Victor Cruz in my flex because of limited choices. Someone just dropped Deangelo Williams. My lack of great RB's made me pounce on this chance. I have him waivered right now with me dropping Victor Cruz. I'm pretty set that I'm starting Torain and Jackson at RB1 and RB2.
Here's my question. Should I drop Victor Cruz for Deangelo Williams(even though he's been underwhelming thus far) to give me RB depth or would you drop someone else listed above for him(considering Battle)? Also, who should play my flex this week Cruz or Williams? If dropping Cruz that would obviously be a moot point.
FYI my WR's are pretty good with good depth. I start three in my league and can start one in the flex. I have Steve Smith(CAR), Santonio Holmes(NYJ), Roddy White(ATL), Santana Moss(WAS), and for now Victor Cruz(NYG) So i have depth there. With four legit number 1 targets and Victor Cruz. Also, on our league waiver wire there are some decent WR options(Heyward-Bey) but the only other RB on waivers that is worth a look is Earnest Graham(TB)

Yeah I think you gotta shore up your RB depth here and pick up DeAngelo Williams. I also agree that Victor Cruz is the guy to drop here. Cruz is still third on the depth chart behind Nicks and Manningham, even though he's had a couple great games. The Panthers' offense is improving, and DeAngelo is way better than JStew. He also has had a nice couple last weeks after a disappointing start.
I also think you start DeAngelo Williams over any of the guys on your bench, and also over the waiver wire options. I love Santana Moss (Skins fan), but he'll be lined up across from Nnamdi this week, and you gotta figure the Skins are gonna run the ball all day against that a Philly team that can't stop the run. DHB is on a roll, but he's still not as good as the guys on your bench (you never know which receiver is gonna get the ball in Oakland). Earnest Graham will have the job for a couple weeks with Blount out, but frankly, I don't think he's very good... plus you could use some sustained depth at RB. Good luck! I have D.Williams and he is hit and miss, even more so since he splits time with Stewert. He has started to play better, but they face Atlanta this week who is 16th in stopping the run. Victor cruz in the past three weeks have scored over 60 points and is now facing a buffalo defense that is 24th in passing so its almost a no brainer right? wrong you still have to consider that NY has mario and nicks, but i do believe cruz still has value. Williams is losing goal line scores to cam so thats a downer so most of the time you hope he breaks a big one which he is able to do. I would say Cruz because NY goes three wide a ton and buffalo gets burned, check out what jason avant did to them and he is in the same position. but if you feel comfortable at wide reciever depth go with williams hes a starter all the time, and get earnest graham because blount is out for at least two weeks so he will be the starter.

forsure drop battle instead of cruz and than play jackson and williams on RB 1 and 2 and i would say cruz over torain because hightower will steal some touchs and cruz looks to be mannings number one choice so far

START VICTOR CRUZ! I HAVE HIM AND HE IS AMAZING! And Earnest Graham is also a very good choice.
