Do people realize that MPD (DID) Multiple Personality Disorder is spiritual, not a mental disorder?

Ultimately I think all mental illness is spiritual imbalances/issues that manifest as physical , and therefore considered 'mental illness' by , i agree a very corrupt, self serving system lead by and taught by people who were also considered questionably sane.

It now feeds itself offf the never ending loop with big pharma, and has little to do with true healing.

I think your views are partially correct, and your religious views your own. This cannot be a forum on religion, since there are many.

I think that your basic premise that this is a spiritual disorder on some level, is accurate, but your premise that this is 'very common' is not. I think that there are other things going on with people that would not be considered DID , like ptsd.

There are many growing in the medical profession that also realizing that the brain and its functions they do not understand and there is much more than they pretend to understand. The whole chemical imbalance serves big pharma , and is not something they have ever proven.

The functional MRI's and SPECT scans are showing much more about the brain than understood, and there have been some research on the psychic abilities of babies to communicate and understand 'psychically' with their carers.

Those views are not something the ones who think science left brainers will admit to. They have no idea of how spirit works, and they would say it is answerable in physics anyway . Which is just calling the same thing by a different name and perspective or system of thought

I do not believe in it, as a naturally occurring disorder (like schizophrenia or depression). I believe that some people who are already psychologically distressed can be led to believe that they have MPD, maybe by psychologists who want that to be what is wrong with them. MPD reports are usually very rare until a movie about MPD comes out, then huge numbers of people think they have MPD. By the way, regarding Sybil: Every psychologist who has evaluated her since the book was written says that she has no symptoms of MPD.

Sounds like your theory is a quackery to me. Mental illnesses are usually have biological origins and can't be cured by a 'spiritual' treatment.
