Porting number from t-mobile?
I want to know about what people have found when porting their number from t-mobile with a PAC code.
I contacted t-mobile today, got my PAC but don't believe what the advisor said about final charges. I feel they may have been telling porkies in an effort to make me stay.
I am out of contract and know there is a 30 day notice period to cancel. the advisor told me i would be charged 30 days from when the PAC is used which seems wrong.
I just want to know if anyone has transferred from T-mobile what sort of charges you found for doing this.
Afrina thats a parked domain with random ads, the links constantly.

Contact the provider you are porting to and they will pay any charges.

I think what TMobile are saying if you do NOT cancel on time the anniversary you are liable for the whole month which is right, so you need to cancel approx 1 month and a couple of days before.
(eg 24 month contract due to end on 31/12/2011, tell network approx 26/11/2011 ending 31/12, as if after 01/12 you have NOT given minimum notice)
Briefly PAC given by Tmobile you have 30 days to submit to the new network.
No charges except [but not an exception] if you don't use the PAC in 30 days you have to apply for another PAC, fortunately I have had some of my guys put this together for you***
