Arabs do not preach the Quran cannot be translated at all. The Quran is translated into almost every language.

Islam as a religion is not limited to one race or nationality, all Muslims are equal, end of!

And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqun (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command).

There is a reason why the Noble Qur'an was given to the Arabs which is because at that time they were the ones that were in the greatest need of it at that time, The same way that Jesus [pbuh] appeared to the Jews whot had "gone astray" and wandered off the right path.

Each Prophet has appeared to those in the greatest need at any one particular time, the plight of Sodom and Gomorrah being a prime example.

But you can't perform Salat unless you know Arabic ! because you are going to read a lot of verses from the Quran ! =)

God say’s in the Qur’an:

3:110. ‘Ye are the best ummah, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.’

In this verse, addressing the followers of Muhammad(pbuh) God say’s that, Muhammad(pbuh)’s followers are the best among the ummahs in mankind. Ummah means nation, community, followers etc. You know, all messengers of God preached and taught Islam. All messengers of God were Muslims and their followers are also Muslims. But messengers other than Muhammad(pbuh) received the part of human religion Islam which was required for their communities and their time only. God completed Islam for entire mankind through his last messenger Muhammad(pbuh). God say’s in the Qur’an:

5:3. ‘This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion’.

So, Muhammad(pbuh)’s followers have the religion in its fullest form. Muhammad(pbuh)’s followers being the retainers of the full knowledge of Islam, are given the responsibility to enjoin mankind towards right path and to avoid Satan’s way.

‘Best ummah’ is the followers of Muhammad(pbuh). Arab: non-Arab, white: black etc. does no discrimination. In this context, part of Muhammad(pbuh)’s last sermon given in the field of Arafat in the year 632 A.D. can be cited:

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.

O People, NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the QUR'AN*) and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.”

As a rule,Arabs and non-Arabs are equal in Islam...but practically many Arabs do think themselves superior to non-Arab muslims...one example of their pride is that they don't support Kashmiri muslims against Indian tyranny like they support Palestinian muslims against Israeli tyranny.

Arabic is such a rich language to translate, it is hard to translate it and then capture the whole meaning...Islam is a universal religion!
