my boyfriends dad just passed away today from a drug overdose and i feel so bad for my boyfriend, does anyone have some suggestions of things i could say to him to help him feel better?

The best way is probably to make sure he knows you are there for him if he needs someone to talk to or just be with. It's sometimes easier to be with someone you love than being alone if you're grieving over a dead parent. Tell him you love him and that it's sad that his father died, and that he will get the time he need to handle the grief. That you will be there for him all the way. Something like that, perhaps?
