Any ideas for writing a newspaper reports?

Please help, i have this English homework to write a newspaper article about 'Jamie Lost His Red Pen'. Can you give me ideas?

    Sure.

    Jamie lost his red pen. He got up this morning and he still had it. He got up, took a shower, got dressed and put the pen in his pocket. Then he stepped out of the door and got run over by a car, which caused the red pen to fly out of his pocket. That's how Jamie lost his red pen.
