Sector Nine Aperture vs Arbor Axis Bamboo? Which Longboard to get?

I'm looking to buy a longboard for college, and I stuck with getting my board at Zumiez. So the longboard is mostly for college, I'm looking for a board good for cruising and carving. I'd like to get as much momentum as I can with each push. (I'm not sure what they call that?)

I'm also am looking at the Arbor Pin Bamboo Longboard??

Anyways, I heard longer boards 42+ were best for cruising and riding around college, what do you guys think?? The Arbor Pin is 46x9.5

Here are the links:

Update:

I'm also open for other longboard recommendations.. hopefully for around $180/200, max 250.

Again I'm looking for a pusher/cruiser, something that will get me a lot of distance per push. It would nice if it was a good carver too.

Why would you want a huge board for school? That means to gotta lug that huge thing around class. Not a good idea... I think the Aperture would be the better choice, even thought I do not like Sector 9's. The 36" board and the Sidewinder trucks will make is easier to dodge people. The trucks make the board less stable though, if that bothers you.

Anyways, you really should look at other places. You can get a much better board for that price or cheaper. I honestly would not even play close to $200 for the Axis. The Earthwing Supermodel or Jet Doppler would be much better drop though boards.

I also highly recommend the Gravity Drop Kick as a fun deck. Little big at 42", but looks like so much fun!
