3: yeap
4: cannot even begin the process until you are in your re enlistment window
5: right now.. probably not . Army is only allowing PS for one MOS.. and it ain't Infantry.. its Special Forces.
6: LASIK is not given to just anybody cuz they want it and the waiting list is very long.

1- If you get released from your unit and talk to a army recruiter
2- Possibly.. If your E-4 or below then most likely yes.
3-Yes you would go to Ft benning where I went! Prepare yourself for a AD Infantry unit because its nothing like the Navy HAHA It's much different then Navy basic training (My cousins literally just got out of navy basic training and we compared it)
4-When your contract with the navy is up you can reenlist to what ever branch you want
5-The Navy has different requirements then the Army so it depends on your particular situation (Example-Army does not take misdemeanor marijuana tickets but the Navy does)
6-you need 20/20 correctable vision to enlist into the Infantry. You will just have to where the BCGs in OSUT (Which are extremely ugly) and get lasik after OSUT because I've heard stories of people getting denied for having lasik surgery but no problem once they have invested money into you and your out of OSUT. Look into tricare to see if they can help you out because I doubt the army will pay
Oh, and your going to get a lot of $hit cause you were navy, especially when your going infantry from the navy in a point unit haha

In ADF by and large it is feasible when you completed your preliminary mission with something department you'll then switch. However, underneath exact instances say exact curiosity, enjoy or loss of current satisfactory or as above mentioned can find the money for to unencumber from present mission with none most important disorders you'll then follow for a switch to one more department for you to by and large enable the preserving of any rank if any if you are enlisted it possibly extraordinary for commissioned officials, I'm now not one hundred% definite on that.

There was a program coming on line as I was retiring from the service, it was called the blue to green program I believe. I am not sure of the details of that program, go ask the local army recruiter

nope. you won't be able to switch. even IF the Navy would release you from contract (and they might be willing to if you asked for a hardship discharge because they are looking for ways to get smaller, and if they have people willing to get out to save them money....), but even if they were to release you, the Army isn't accepting any prior service recruits right now. you wouldn't be able to get a conditional release to go 'if' they accept you, you'd have to be all the way out, and then try to go back.
there are a whole slew of strings of course, and about the only PS opportunity for the Army is based on your rank, and then only if you wanted to join special ops. technically, you could try, then if you washed out, i think you get bumped to infantry - but it all depends on rank and your present job.

1. No, you have to complete you current enlistment.
2. generally prior service keep their rank
3. Yes, all navy prior service must complete army basic
4. you have to try and enlist as prior service.
5. Most likely you will NOT be aloowed to enlist into the Army as prior service navy
6. Most division post have lasik eye surgery clinics, but then there are 20,000 soldiers stationed on that post, so you will not be getting surgery any time soon.

The answer to #1 is NO, therefore the rest of the questions are moot.
