Well, there are benefits to both.

For the haunted house, it would be an excuse to hold her hand. You are also in a more intimate setting, and while you are waiting in line you can talk to each other privately.

For the halloween party, you can see how well she does in social situations. It would be a good way to break the ice and introduce her to all of your friends, but you may not be talking to her as much.

I would go for the haunted house, because if you decide that you like her enough, THEN you can take her to a party to meet all of your friends. You will also be paying more attention to her other than your friends, and get a more quality conversation.
