Do you think it is odd that my ancestors have never gave birth to a girl(as long as i remember)?

for example my great grandfather had 2 sons and then my grandpa had 3 sons and my dad has 2 sons including me and my uncles only have sons. do you think its odd, i dont understand..........thanks for sharing ideas.

    That's just your dad's side of the family

    Yeah, that's only on your dad's side. From what I learned in college, having a boy is more likely than having a girl because sperm that carry the male genes are smaller an swim faster than sperm who carry the female genes.

    No, it's probably just coincidence, no matter how many boys are already in your family there is still a 50/50 chance of any new child being either gender when it is born.

    You are part of ALL YOUR ANCESTORS.

    You have EXACTLY the same number of girl/ women ancestors as you do male ancestors. It takes a man and woman together to make a baby.

    If your ancestors never gave birth to a girl how are you here? Your mom, two grandmother, four great grandmothers, etc. are ancestors and got here somehow.

    You mean one side of your family................it happens but that is about genetics not genealogy......................
