I need some trade advice .. I contribute to this forum frequently so help would be appreciated :)?
So theres a dude in my league thats willing to trade either Ray Rice, Matt Forte, or Frank Gore... he needs a WR badly... He hasn't told me who hes interested in yet but... I have Hakeem Nicks, Dwayne Bowe, AJ Green, Eric Decker, Malcolm Floyd, Johnny Knox (soon to be waived for Demarco Murray if I am able to get him .. im 10 of 10 on the waiver spot (last)) and Mike Thomas (soon to be waived for Montario Hardesty if i can get him)
My RB's are Chris Johnson, Ryan Mathews, Beanie Wells, James Starks and Delone Carter (soon to be waived to pick up a D for this week since mine is on a bye)
So my question is... Should I even make this trade?? Or am I fine the way I am.. (i'm currently 5-0-1 thanks to Aaron Rodgers)... and if I should make this trade.. who should I trade??? Should I trade one of my big WR's like Nicks or Bowe.. or should I try to trade a couple lesser receivers in a package deal??? And if so... who should I aim for? I think Rice is the best RB out of that group.. but I don't wanna give up too much for another RB since i already have 3 viable starters.. so i'd be down for either one of the 3... though Chris Johnson hasn't been too great so far.. I dunno.. I'm lost.. i feel like one of those RB's could really improve my team but I don't wanna give up Nicks or Bowe .. so i could use some advice
(BTW.. this dude is also willing to trade Peyton Hillis as well.. but i really don't wanna touch him right now)
yea to the dude who said I'm playing with 3 year olds... I had the 2nd pick in a 10 man snake draft.. was able to get CJ in the first round.. Rodgers in the 2nd... Nicks in the 3rd (almost back to back picks after Rodgers)... and then Mathews, Bowe and Wells were all taken in the 4th-6th rounds which is about what they were projected for in most drafts.. AJ Green, Starks, Floyd etc were all later round picks... no one would have thought Green would be so hot this season... And i got Decker and the others off of waivers... the only screw up that my league made was allowing Rodgers to fall to me at the end of the 2nd round... the only QB that went in the first round in my league was Vick

holy crap what are you in a two man league i find this hard to believe your in a 10 man with that team unless you playing with 3 year olds. if he's an idiot he won't trade rice or forte for anyone less then bowe, because clearly bowe is asserting his dominance again. Even then you might have to trade bowe and a lesser receiver like green or decker. I would go with green because decker just became the #1 wide out with a qb who has to big brass ones to throw long bomb after long bomb (major sleeper potential). you would do fine not to trade but if it was me i wouldn't pass up the chance to go after rice or forte right now.

You do have three viable starters, but beanie wells is injury prone and CJ is dying slowly. The best bet for you is to trade a WR like Nicks or Bowe, (depending on who you trust more) and get an RB in return. You can replace either of those receivers with eric decker or AJ green. They just might give you a couple of points less but the RB you get in return will give you a lot more points. You have a good team but be wary injuries can happen anytime and Beanie Wells cannot be trusted to go a full season.
BTW for the person above me. I am in a 12 team league I have McFadden, Hillis, Ryan Matthews, Daniel Thomas, Jackie Battle, as my RB's. My WR's are Colston, Steve Smith, AJ Green, and Jeremy Maclin. TE Vernon Davis and Packers D. I play with all college students and they are fantasy nerds. It just depends on how you draft your team and picking up the right people.

Give up bowe I know he has produced big but if you can get a nice back like ray rice or gore than go for it. Running backs are a for sure 15 plus points depending on what type of league you are in. I say keep hakeem and trade bowe away and start Aj Greene who is hot right now and is Cincinnati most reliable target

Your team is pretty beast but if you can land ray rice then do it. Nicks and wells for rice and any wr that could do something? Or if he won't do it go after gore for nicks and wells and get a decent wr. Like lloyd or colston for examples.
