    Anything spinning turns about a central focal point. To remain spinning, it cannot abandon this central point.

    We see the one side of the moon because its spin or rotation is exactly equal to its orbit. Mercury is in a similar situation. We are fortunate to live on earth, where our spin allows all parts of the planet to be warmed and cooled--that's God's design.
