Breast milk is supply and demand, with that being said; your body doesn't know that it isn't supplying enough milk. Pump after every feeding and in between if you can, just to jump start it. There are also medications that improve lactation. Domperidone is a gastro-intestinal medication that helps improve digestion. But it also improves lactation. I would ask your doctor about this medication and see if it might help you out.
