GCSE? Will having more GCSE's affect your university or A-Level choices?

Its a bit complicated but I am doing GCSE's right now, but my friend is doing extra subjects like triple science and ICT full course. Will it affect which choices I have for university if I have less GCSE grades. I've been so stressed about it.

Your GCSE's don't really affect Uni applications, you have to put them on your application but the universities will be more worried about you AS grades and your predicted grades.

Basically it won't matter what you do, try to do something that links to what you want to do in the future but they won't affect your Uni applications unless you're applying for Oxbridge i think.

Also you're GCSEs can affect your A level choices but only in terms of entry requirements and most colleges ask for 5 A*-C, but don't always ask for specific subjects.

Most colleges have like requirements I think the norm is like 5 GCSEs grade A-C...so look on there, also most colleges won't reject you right away anyway many offer the chance to resit some GCSEs. Look at your prospective college's website and their requirements :) Hope this helped
