    Depends on where you live. In BC, Canada you can get your car impounded, license taken away and suspended for up to a few months.. also fined. Laws like this are being introduced in other areas of North America as well.. so it would be best to avoid it. Not only because of potentially breaking a law, it could distract you and cause a serious accident. It's best to not text and drive.

    State laws are different in every state but most states are making it a ticketable offense.. they can pull you over and give you a ticket.... like speeding... not arrested just fined.

    That shouldn't worry you as much as crashing head-on into something and being extruded through the windshield of have the steering wheel 3" into your lungs. If you're lucky, you'll just get a ticket.

    You won't get arrested. You will get a fine and lose 3 points from your licence.

    I think so, atleast it should be.. My bus diver texts while driving its dangerous and stupid which can harm other people, just text when you out the car:) or parked lol

    Not yet, but you can crash into someone and get in trouble.
