I agree with ? . With so many rating requirements on Video games even afternoon TV shows and DVD movies what make the media so special? Seriously? I have kids? What kind of education are they learning from a video and photo of a guy getting beaten then show to everybody in a freezer? Plus the repeats of that racing crash.. How there family reacting to all the media just running the videos into the ground!! It was the same with 9/11/01 Lets watch the planes hit the towers again and again and again and again now lets look at all the death an kayos from different camera views!! WE ALL GET THE POINT!!!! I couldn't watch any of it anymore it got too disturbing and hows that going to effect my kids?? Really?? What really ticks me off is when the media feeds us a line of crap say OH WELL ITS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO WATCH WHAT THERE KIDS VIEW ON TV AND THE INTERNET? Actually its a very cold response when they think that way?? Its Ok they can get away with it. But if one of our children sees all of this then suddenly acts it out its the parents fault!! Its a sh**ty way of creating a legal policy to protect them self while the rest of the people that are getting this crap thrown in there faces have to endure with out any legal protection except our selves? Seriously can we watch our children 24/7 specially when the age category varies? No. The media are being dumb a**es!! They need a degree of ratings!! So many others half to fallow those guide lines what make the media so special??

No I don't think it should have been on the front pages. A banner headline would have been enough a few years ago , with pic and info inside.
The same for local news channels. I accept that world wide providers like CNN, BBC World and Al Jazeera have a problem because it is always day time somewhere, but there are ways of doing things.
I know that from the time I first heard he was dead I was glued to the news channels for an hour trying to make sure it wasn't a maybe and trying to get my head around how I felt. But I didn't need to see the photos to believe it.
I managed never to see any of Saddam Hussain and that worked just fine for me and he is just as dead!

I think after 9 would have been better. I read the headlines of the papers, but didn't buy or look at any pictures. If people don't want that kind of news pics they wont buy, like me. My thoughts were for the Libyan people and their today and future not the death of this thug.

Well it shocks that's for sure,I was quiet upset by the pleading when they were shooting.Although I don't think it should been shown before 9 o'clock,as an adult I think we have a right to choose to choose what we want to watch.
Not sure about the papers as any one can see them without even buying them,so young children can see them just lying around..

certain, I truly have. i grow to be a clown in a community clown troupe for 3 years and made the front-web page once-upon-a-time in the course of a competition. i grow to be a face-painter. not ordinary to trust, huh? ok, per chance no longer. ;)

Refreshing after people whining about Osama being dunked in the water like a witch. At least people will find it harder to claim he wasn't killed.
p.s. i agree regarding when the images should be shown.

To be honest I think the tv media are very wrong to show it before 9am. Never mind the kids ~ it put me off my tea!
But seriously, there was no need to show those graphic bloody images during the day. I can understand people wanting proof but they could just have said to tune in later. I think the only way is down for tv

It was unacceptable. Newspapers are on display in areas where very young children can see them. They could have chosen less traumatic images for the front page. If I had a young child, I would be outraged.

I think the paid newspaper photographers were doing the job for which they get paid. Other photographers were hoping they would get a shot they could sell.

I think it was worse of CNN they kept replaying the death of dan weldon..NASCAR driver
Come on!! The guy has kids and family but they love to show his view in slo mo..
And just days they took pride in not showing MJs body..which they later did
But to really answer your question.. I think that would of been ok in Libya..they deserve to see what they worked hard for.. everyone else is blood hungry and tv loves ratings..
