Picking up package at UPS/FedEx?

If my package is being held at the local UPS/FedEx facility (because I wasn't able to sign for it), is it possible to send someone there in my place (with the same last name and address as me on their license) and have them pick up the package?

    Well, certainly with Fedex its possible. Fedex delivers to an *address*, not to a *name*.

    And yes, anyone with the same last name that can show they are associated with your address (picture id, cable bill, rental agreement, etc) can pick up the package from the facility.

    UPS would have to operate in much the same way.

    Yes, you can change the delivery address or pick it up from their facility. All explain in their web.
