Internet advertising why?

Do ads that websites show or that pop up at a website, make a website free to use?

NO siree, the advertisements pay royalties to the company hosting the page. My friend is an internet advertisement specialist for Google and a few others. He correlates the ad location and hyperlinks to direct you to another page, as well as make a business the first to show up in the suggestion box by recognizing key words in search engines. Its pretty effective and he makes decent money.

this is purely informative by the way.

    hope this answers for ya!!

There are free sites that are funded by adsense ads placed on users pages. But most ads you see on sites are independently place by the web site operator as a revenue source, many pay around $8/mo for web site hosting.

Revenue can come from signing up a site with an advertising network, privately arranged ad placements, or with affiliate links to products the site operator chooses that match the site's content.
