I'm trying to format my niece's iPod Nano...?

She got it from her cousin. My computer keeps telling me Windows could not format this disk and when I restore the settings, the computer still won't allow me to put music on it. Help please? Serious answers only.

    Connect with iTunes, and then restore it. After that, mark on "manage your device manually', and drag your songs in ipod.
