How do you do your make up?
I'm going on a night out and I've bought mascara, eye liner, eye shadow and foundation but I rarely wear make up and was wondering how people put it on, how much people put on, what order to put it on and whether to wear all these things at the same time, or what colour eye shadow? As you can tell I'm pretty lost, so any help will be appreciated :)

foundation first.. i mix mine with a non-greasy moisturizer.. that way it covers your skin more easily, blends well, and looks lighter and more natural. don't use too much, and make sure there are no lines, especially around your jaw-line.
eyeshadow generally depends on your complexion, stick with more neutral tones, so you don't look too clownish..
use a brush to apply it close to your lash line and then blend out, rather than a full sweep across your lid. this can sometimes look too heavy.
if you line the inside of your eyes with eye-liner, it could make them look smaller, depending on how big they are. try lining the top, and the outer corners of the bottom, blending any harsh lines a little with a bush.
mascara last, which is pretty self-explanitory.. focus on the outer corners of your lashes to make them look thicker and longer. don't go overboard or your lashes will look spidery and clumpy.
shaping your eyebrows, and adding a little definition with eyeliner can make you look more polished too.
the best way to figure what looks best is to practice before you go out, try different looks out and see what works for you.
always make sure you wash your face before bed too, so the make-up doesn't clog your pores.
and if you're going to do heavy eyes, keep the lips neutral, and vice versa.

Youtube it:) they have hundreds of videos of girls explaining how to put it on, while showing you on themselves. However, Yes i where all the products you bought. Make sure you have a facial moisturizer for your face that you put on before your foundation. Then you really need a eyeshadow base for they eyeshadow to stick to so it doesn't come off. So your next step would be eyeshadow, eye liner, then mascara. How much depends on you, if you want a natural look, put on less, if you want a really noticable dramatic look, keep adding the liner and mascara:) but like i said, watch a couple youtube videos, just search how to apply makeup and start watching.....you could become a pro haha

i put foundation on first, so you can put it on your eyelids too, so your whole face matches. Also it's easier to get off smudges if it goes on the foundation first. then you put on eye shadow so the liner and mascara don't get covered. I use a light purple or pink near the insides of my lids then a gray or black on the outsides. if you blend them it looks hot. then put the liner on, sometimes i just put i just put it on the top because it looks nicer and it doesn't look like you put a gallon of makeup on. Then if you have an eyelash curler, blowdry it for a little then curl your lashes, it makes them much longer! Then put on your mascara, pull the brush to the outside it makes it look like a movie star.
