Relegation?....not any more!?

Question

I was thinking if the FA decide to go ahead with scrapping the relegation/Promotion in the EPL, would there need to be 20 clubs? because half of the clubs already struggle every week and cannot compete with the big money clubs. Plus I don't think there would be any real competition as some clubs would would not care about results as they know they can't get relegated.

And would Players want to play in that league knowing there is no real  competition.

Or would a Europe Super League be a better idea? Would be great to watch, but would also be very expensive being a fan and going to away games.  Either way I can see something happening and just wanted to know what others though about it.

it will never happen, can you imagine teams like leeds, middlesbrough, west ham, forest, birmingham.... who all have premier league sized fan base and stadium being told they can never be promoted into that league ever again? no chance

I agree on this, if they scrap relegation, some clubs might not try as hard, therefore we lose our status as having the best football league in the world. Also, it would have a negative effect on teams in leagues under the Premier League, as they would see no motivation to play better, because there would be no reward for them for doing so.

Haven't we almost got a Europe Super League? - The top teams in the English Premier League and Europes top leagues are only interested in quailfying for the European Champions League - domestic football and representing your country is irrelevant to these top clubs/players.
